Abstract
This paper is concerned with two notions of dichotomies for linear dif ference equations in Banach spaces. We introduce the new concept of sp ectral dichotomy and relate it to the known notion of exponential dich otomy. The equations we consider are in general not supposed to have i nvertible right-hand sides. (C) 1994 Academic Press, Inc.
