Abstract
Myxotrichum arcticum, a new species with an Oidiodendron anamorph, is described and illustrated from Alaskan forest soil. It differs from ot hers by having ascomata with very short, spine-like appendages which a re never uncinate and which are similar to the peridial hyphae, and by having a unique Oidiodendron anamorph.
