Abstract
The kinetics of oxidation of low-impurity components in air mixtures u nder heterogeneous conditions was studied. The principal kinetic featu res of the process were determined on the basis of theoretical analysi s of plasma-chemical oxidation in heterogeneous media. The analysis al so showed that low concentrations of impurities in liquid aerosol part icles can be efficiently oxidized via a chain process induced by react ive species formed in the gas.
