Abstract
New areas of application of IR-laser radiation in organic chemistry ar e discussed, namely, Polymer synthesis by the solid-phase polycondensa tion method using monomers and polymerization with the use of oligomer s or polymers. The promise of these methods is demonstrated; energy an d quantum characteristics Of the process and properties of the compoun ds formed are given. The specific features of these Processes are cons idered; they are compared with the procedure of thermochemical synthes is on high-temperature pressing.
