The results of a development of the electromagnetic-emission method of
monitoring the quality of dielectric and composition materials are pr
esented. The effectiveness of the use of ultrasonic loading produced b
y laser-emission pulses, when they interact with the material of the o
bject being monitored, in increasing the sensitivity of the method and
extending its practical possibilities is pointed out.
