Abstract
The crystal structures of dichloro- (2) and lmethylidene)-2-thienylmet hylamine-N,N']copper(II) (1) have been determined to investigate the c oordination of die metal centre. In both cases, the two N atoms and tw o halogen anions are coordinated to the copper(II) and the S atom is f ree. For the dibromo complex, the structure is monomeric, while die di chloro complex forms dimers diylidene)-2-thienylmethyl-amine-N,N']copp er(II)})
