Abstract
The title compound, C6H5F3N2O2.1/6CHCl3, crystallizes from chloroform with three molecules of the ester and half a disordered chloroform mol ecule in the asymmetric unit. The three ester molecules form a hydroge n-bonded trimer via a cyclic arrangement of three N1-H...N2 hydrogen b onds. Corresponding bond lengths in all three molecules are similar.
