Abstract
The title compound is an 'inner' salt: methyl)-4-methyl-1-phenylpyrida zinium-3-sulfonate, C12H11N3O4S (1). The pyridazinium ring is almost p lanar and twisted approximately 50-degrees out of the benzene ring pla ne. The oxime -OH group forms an intermolecular hydrogen bond to one o f the sulfonate O atoms. The identification of (1) has revealed an unu sual rearrangement.
