Abstract
'Hadlee' is a new blue pea developed for the New Zealand field pea exp ort industry. This cultivar is the first to be released in New Zealand with resistance to pea seed borne mosaic virus. In regional evaluatio n trials conducted in Canterbury, over three successive seasons, 'Hadl ee' has produced a seed yield consistently higher than the standard co mmercial cultivar 'PV12'.
