Abstract
An antiserum catalysed imine formation from pyridoxal and phenylalanin e is described, under conditions in which the uncatalysed reaction is not observed. This polyclonal antibody preparation shows Michaelian ki netic characteristics and presents a very good specificity for the pyr idoxal structure.
