Abstract
An analysis is made of the conditions for three-mode and four-mode las ing stability in solid-state lasers with anisotropic cavities and intr acavity second-harmonic generation in a nonlinear crystal with type II phase matching. The three-mode lasing is shown to be the least stable . A study is made of changes in the nature of the phase paths of a sys tem when the efficiency of conversion to the second harmonic is increa sed.
