Abstract
Reaction of [Pt(PPh(3))(3)] with (PhCNSSN)(2) in MeCN leads to [Pt(SNC PhNS-S,S)(PPh(3))(2)]-MeCN, which decomposes in toluene to give a nove l trimetallic species, [Pt-3(mu-SNCPhNS-S,S)(2)(PPh(3))(4)]-2PhMe; the structures of both compounds are reported.
