Abstract
Large serum biochemical screenings were performed in four goat breedin g units in Burkina Faso. Results obtained were similar to results of p revious studies in goats of the Sahel area. It was demonstrated that t he following components : glucose, triglycerides, proteins, calcium an d phosphates had the most significant variations. These could easily b e employed as on-field techniques are available.
