Abstract
Ambulatory surgery has to be carried out with the same care as inpatie nt treatment with regard to the forensic aspects. As Weissauer reporte d, the specific forensic risk of ambulatory surgery consists in the fa ct that it's typical medical risks will be easily underestimated. Ambu latory surgery makes great demands on preparation, plan and performanc e of operation as well as on postoperative care and patient informatio n and medical advice.
