Abstract
The bound magnetic polaron (BMP) in a cubic Fe-based diluted magnetic semiconductor is considered. It is shown that the energy spectrum of t he Bmp is identical to that of the three-dimensional harmonic oscillat or with a spin-orbital coupling. The polaron effect manifests itself i n the existence of a splitting in the energies of the excited states o f the polaron. It is shown also that the g-factor of the BMP is smalle r than the g-factor of a free electron calculated in the molecular-fie ld approximation.
