This paper proposes a smoothing method using the boundary element meth
od(BEM) for the finite element(FE) analysis of the electromagnetic fie
lds. This method has the advantage of obtaining the physical quantitie
s continuously with good precision. This approach is also easily appli
ed to a complicated region which could include non-linear materials or
eddy currents. To verify this approach, the numerical results obtaine
d by the proposed method are compared with the theoretical values.
