Abstract
The Fragment Separator is a device for producing and separating exotic nuclear beams. The exotic nuclei can be investigated directly, or the secondary beams can be injected into the storage-cooler ring, or deli vered to targets in the experimental caves. The magnets of the spectro meter and the equipment used to measure the magnetic fields are descri bed. Results of the measurements and operational experience with the l aminated magnets are reported.
