Abstract
Coefficients of Taylor series expansion up to the fourth order are rep orted for three projections of the fringing magnetic field. Computer s imulation is used to investigate the problem of accuracy of measuring multipole coefficients of the fringing magnetic field. It is demonstra ted that the necessary accuracy of this measurements can be achieved b y using the ''spatial field'' model to approximate the field by increa sing the number of measuring points.
