Abstract
Activated charcoal added to artificial growth medium enhances initial association between the mycelium of the desert truffle Terfezia leonis Tul. and the roots of Helianthemum sessiliforum (Defs). Pers. in vitr o. This is due, at least in part, to adsorption of iron.
