Abstract
The supplementation of commercial trout feeds with ASCOGEN (Chemoforma Ltd., Augst, Switzerland) in dosage of 0.62 and 2.5 g/kg supported th e growth response and feed quotient of rainbow trout but the dosage of 5 g/kg led to the growth rate depression. When evaluating this effect from the production point of view, the addition of 2.5 g of ASCOGEN t o commercial trout feed can be recommended as the most suitable for gr owth performance support of rainbow trout.
