It is stressed that the stability of the superconducting ground state
in the two-band model is guaranteed for both signs of the leading inte
rband interaction W. Thereby the requirement for the energy minimum fi
xes the phase differences of two order parameters as \phi1 - phi2\ = 0
, 2pi, ... if W < 0 and \phi1 - phi2\ = pi, 3pi, ... if W > 0, and thi
s difference is reflected in the ground-state wave function.
