Abstract
The microstructure of ceramic high temperature superconductors (HTSC) is of superconducting grains coupled by intergranular weak-links that are also superconducting. We have established an interesting interplay between the hysteretic magnetic response of these two components. Our experimental results, their qualitative understanding, and their exte ntion to develop a technique for measuring the lower critical field, a re presented.
