Abstract
Folded acetate-bridged ortho-palladated complexes of benzoylbenzyliden eamines react with CH2Cl2 to afford unfolded chloro-bridged ortho-pall adated complexes. This finding is supported by an X-ray crystallograph ic study of the complex [{Pd(C6H5-CH2-N=C-(COC6H5)-C6H4)(mu-Cl)}2].
