Abstract
Planktic blue-green cyanophyte assemblages from six eutrophic lakes si tuated in South Scania, Sweden, from July-August 1977-1987 were invest igated. Altogether 70 taxa were. recorded of which 41 taxa belonged to the Chroococcales. Four new species are described: Aphanothece bachma nnii, A. smithii, Chroococcus microscopicus and Cyanodictyon filiforme . The following new combinations are proposed: Aphanocapsa conferta, A phanothece minutissima, Aphanothece endophytica and Chroococcus distan s.
