Abstract
Reviewed the psychosocial and developmental challenges faced by techno logy-dependent children, their families, and their caregivers. Previou s literature which has examined psychological outcome in children with repeated hospitalizations is presented. Psychosocial implications for programs addressing the needs of technology-dependent children are di scussed.
