Abstract
PbCl2 was examined by X-ray diffraction in order to test information a bout polymorphism in this compound. X-ray diffraction patterns of PbCl 2 crystallized from the aqueous solution, as well as of PbCl2 molten a nd quenched, are the same. Two modifications in PbCl2 were not found a nd polymorphism was not confirmed.
