Abstract
We use current conservation to include vertex corrections in the self- energy calculations in superconducting states. The Green function is s elf-consistently determined to yield a superconducting gap equation wh ich is significantly different from the usual BCS one and contains the fluctuations of the Goldstone bosons. It presents a possibility that fluctuations may increase the transition temperature and may help our understanding of high temperature superconductivity.
