Abstract
Chaotic photocurrent oscillations have been investigated experimentall y in the planar Al/GaAs structures of Schottky junctions. The standard routes to chaos via quasiperiodicity and period doubling have been ob served. Dynamic nature of the irregular behaviour is proved by the num erical calculations of the correlation dimension and the number of eff ective degrees of freedom.
