Abstract
A method of evaluating the injury to the genetic apparatus of fish cry opreserved spermatozoa is suggested. It is based on the difference in survival of androgenetic haploids, obtained after inseminating eggs, c arrying X-ray-inactivated genome, with native and cryopreserved sperma tozoa. The results obtained strongly suggest that, following cryoprese rvation, genetic defects may be developed in a some carp spermatozoa.
