Abstract
We report on a woman in whom pulmonary embolism and positive lupus ant icoagulant occurred 9 months before the diagnosis of renal cell carcin oma. To our knowledge this association has been described previously w ith other malignant neoplasms but not with a renal tumor, and it may r epresent an autoimmune paraneoplastic event.
