Ap. Cheilyakh et Ls. Malinov, PROPERTIES OF AND TRANSFORMATIONS IN CORROSION-RESISTANT CHROME-MANGANESE STEELS, Metal science and heat treatment, 36(1-2), 1994, pp. 103-109
Corrosion-resistant high-strength steels, which are widely used in var
ious branches of industry, contain large amounts of expensive and scar
ce alloying elements (Ni, Mo, etc.). To attain high strength, such ste
els require complex treatment including subzero treatment, plastic def
ormation, and aging, which also makes them more expensive. It is a top
ical problem to design economical materials and to devise technologies
of enhancing their strength while economizing resources.
