Abstract
Treatment of psoriasis is rapidly changing with improved understanding of the pathogenesis of the disease. Newer topical preparations such a s calcipotriol and immunosuppressive agents such as cyclosporin A and FK506 are having a major impact on the therapy of psoriasis. This arti cle reviews the conventional therapies and newer agents used in the tr eatment of this common dermatosis.
