Abstract
Features of the atomization and properties of coatings of composite Ti C-Ni-Cu-P powder are studied. It is shown that atomization with a supe rsonic plasma jet of combustion products provides a high-quality produ ct: adhesion of 40-60 MPa, and porosity of 3-5%. Such coatings have hi gh wear resistance and they are recommended for use in friction assemb lies.
