Abstract
Calibration is the necessary step of any analytical procedure, based o n the principle of relative measurement. In the case of determination of gaseous analytes, the gaseous standard mixtures are necessary. Lowe ring of the required levels of determination resulted in the developme nt in the field of the methods of preparation of such mixtures. This w ork presents the main trends in the field during several last years.
