Abstract
Trace metals (Cu, Pb, Zn, Cd, Cr, Ni, Co, Mn) and iron concentration w ere determined in several sediments collected in the Antarctica (Terra Nova Bay-Ross Sea). Samples were analyzed by inductively coupled plas ma (ICP-AES) after selective and total extraction. The results are in good agreement with the data previously collected in the same area.
