Abstract
This paper describes a phase method for measuring the signal in fiber- optic sensors of the polarimetric type, based on low-frequency rotatio n of the polarization Plane of the light at the input to the sensor's sensitive element. The proposed method is free from the disadvantages that characterize intensity measurements and can be extended to sensor s of different physical fields.
