Abstract
The paper considers a technique for determining the available reactive power for generating busbars with different generators. The technique includes formation of available reactive power curves for each genera tor, analytical representation of the curves, and calculation of the t otal curve for the busbar. The technique is intended for power system dispatch condition control and is realized in the appropriate software package for the control computer.
