Abstract
Hemodynamic forces elicit a range of endothelial cellular responses th at regulate tone and vascular structure. Here we review some new appro aches to live-cell real-time imaging of endothelial cell surfaces that reveal the dynamic nature of these structures and their mutability wh en subjected to defined flow forces.
