EVOLUTION-EQUATIONS ASSOCIATED WITH RECURSIVELY DEFINED BERNSTEIN-TYPE OPERATORS

Wt continue the study of the generalization of Bernstein operators int roduced previously, obtained by requiring suitable recursive relations on the binomial-type coefficients. We show that these operators can b e used to approximate the solutions of some degenerate second order pa rabolic parabolic problems. (C) 1996 Academic Press, Inc.
