Abstract
Babkin et al have found a small curvature in facets of He-4 crystals. As a possible explanation they consider a model where the curvature ar ises from thermally activated defects previously studied by Andreev. W e criticize this model, and suggest that the curving arises from pinni ng of steps near the facet edge.
