Abstract
By use of high-resolution scanning electron microscopy and electron pr obe X-ray microanalysis, the surface structure of RuO2-IrO2-TiO2/Ti el ectrodes has been clarified. It is composed of highly grown Ti-deficie nt crystallites and ultrafine Ti-rich oxide particles of 5-20 nm in di ameter, forming a porous structure.
