Abstract
A pulse generator composed of a thyratron generator, a nonlinear sharp ening line, a nonlinear inductor narrowing the pulse, and a coaxial au totransformer is described. The device generates 17-31-kV pulses with 8-12-nsec FWHM across a 1-kOMEGA load.
