E. Szlyk et al., STUDIES OF AG(I) COMPLEXES WITH TRIPHENYLPHOSPHINE AND FLUORINATED CARBOXYLATES, Polish Journal of Chemistry, 68(8), 1994, pp. 1529-1534
Silver(I) complexes with triphenylphosphine and perfluorinated carboxy
lic acids residues were synthesized and their thermal and spectroscopi
c (IR, C-13, F-19, P-31 NMR) properties studied. Ag(I) appears to be t
wo coordinated with triphenylphosphine and 0 bonded unidentate carboxy
late. Hexafluoroglutarate binds two metal ions unidentately. The therm
al decomposition proceeds at least in two steps and leads to the metal
lic silver. The lowest temperature of silver formation has been found
for the C9F19COOAgP(C6H5)3.
