Abstract
We show that zero-field muon-spin-relaxation studies of the critical p aramagnetic fluctuations in ferromagnets are mostly sensitive to fluct uation modes at small wave vectors. The transverse-fluctuation modes c an be probed very close to the zone center when the temperature approa ches the Curie temperature. A quantitative determination of the zone p robed in Ni and Fe is performed.
