Abstract
Oxygen isotope effects have been investigated in the electron-doped Pr 1.85Ce0.15CuO4-y. We find the exponent of oxygen isotope effect alpha( O) = 0.08 +/- 0.01. The sizable oxygen isotope effect in this electron -doped system indicates that the electron-phonon interaction plays an important role in the pairing mechanism.
