Abstract
An account is given on an infection experiment with Mycobacterium (M.) intracellulare in 50 dairy cows. The immunological and biochemical re sponses of animal organism to this microbe are described. The epizooti ological mechanism of this infection, which often is difficult to dema rcate in diagnosis from tuberculosis, is explained.
