DEVELOPMENT OF MICROBIOLOGICAL METHODS FO R OIL-RECOVERY ENHANCEMENT AT THE ROMASHKINO OIL-FIELD

An original technology to enhance oil recovery based on the activation of formation microflora of waterflooded oil fields was tested in the Tatarstan. The technology includes the injection of the small air satu rated mineral salt solution sluqs into the oil reservoirs. The activit y of microflora (both aerobic and anaerobic) has increased sharply in the near-bottom zone of injection well. The field tests was carryed ou t in the 3 pilots of the different waterflooded areas of the Romashkin o oil field. The additional oil recovery was reached total 41.08 t.t. It was 32.9% of the total pilots oil production. The enhancement of oi l recovery correlated with the main microbiological characteristics.
