M. Lecuit et al., USE OF ALBENDAZOLE FOR DISSEMINATED MICROSPORIDIAN INFECTION IN A PATIENT WITH AIDS, Clinical infectious diseases, 19(2), 1994, pp. 332-333
Disseminated microsporidian infection in patients with AIDS has been r

the newly described genus Septate. We report a case of symptomatic, di
sseminated intestinal, urinary, nasal, and ocular microsporidian infec
tion in a patient with AIDS. A dramatic response to therapy with alben
dazole was observed.
