Abstract
The intrinsic, intergranular, critical current density J(c)(H = 0, T l ess-than-or-equal-to T(c)) in sintered untextured YBCO specimens of di fferent grain size is self-consistently determined using a recently pr oposed critical state model [1] on ZFC magnetization M(H, T) and on pu lse transport J(ct)(T) measurements. Flux-creep effects, which are sig nificant in these materials, are treated and the J(c)(T) results are c orrected to their intrinsic values.
