Abstract
We discuss the order c2 correction of the lattice specific heat of Al1 -cMgc substitutional alloys for different concentrations c and tempera tures. To do so we introduce Mg-Mg pairs in the calculation of the pho non density of states, and estimate their contribution to different re lative configurations.
